Alex Edwards and Miss Florence Chatfield were married at Weiser, Sunday, 
returning to Payette the same day and taking up their residence in a newly 
furnished house on Front street.  Both young people are well and favorably 
known, and they received the congratulations of many friends in which THE 
INDEPENDENT joins.  The bride and groom were visited by the shivaree serenading 
party, Monday evening, and it may now be said that they have been fairly 
launched on life’s journey.
