Last Tuesday at the residence of Captain A. Lee Ewing, on Jefferson Street 
occurred the wedding of Miss Mary Ewing of this city and Mr. W. F. Chapman of 
Payette.  The ceremony was performed by Dr. Weber, pastor of the Baptist 
church.  The happy couple left on the afternoon train for Kansas to visit with 
the grooms parents.

Note:  According to the Western States Marriage Index, Walter F. Chapman 
married Mary Ewing on 1-4-1898. ch
