WEDDING BELLS
 
A simple but beautifully appointed wedding took place at 7:15 o'clock on 
Sunday evening December 29th when Mrs. Flora L. Kollenborn became the bride of 
Earl St. Clair, both of this city.
 
The ceremony took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Stegel.  At the 
appointed hour the bride and groom took their place with the witnesses, Mr. 
and Mrs. Elmer Wicklund, beneath a bower of pine and white crepe.  One of the 
most appealing parts of the decorations was a Hugh Christmas bell of red, 
white and blue which hung directly over the bride during the ceremony.  The 
simple and beautiful service was read by the Rev. F. Carl Rueggeberg, local 
Minister to the Evangelical Lutheran church.  Immediately after the ceremony, 
while the happy couple were receiving congratulations, the air was suddenly 
filled with music -- the music of "Oh Promise Me" sung by Mrs. F. C. 
Rueggeberg.  Those present besides the principals, were Mrs. Houston, mother 
of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. John Stegel, Mr. and Mrs. Wicklund, and Miss 
Florence Stegel, lately returned from Boise.  At the appointed hour delicious 
refreshments were served.  All present indulged in good cheer and many wishes 
to the happy couple in their union.
 
Mr. and Mrs. St. Clair will live at the Hotel until Spring when they 
contemplate removing to Los Angeles.
