None of them were present at her marriage except Miss Bowman of Boise. The bridegroom is Mr. Carroll D. Chase of Idaho County employed now on the irrigation work up Little Willow. For the present they are occupying rooms in the Emma block, but it is only for the present. His call for service at the front comes next month and then it will be "husband daring at the front and wife waiting at home," which to our mind is the surest guaranty of an entire country serving in the great conflict. We wish them joy for the honeymoon period which they will have together; and then deeper joy for those days so "great and high" when he will be going "over the top" and she will be saying; "It is my husband, who is showing gallantry over there." The were married at the Presbyterian Manse, Mr. Reed officiating. Note: According to Payette County Marriage Records, Clifford D. Chase married Emma McCammon on 1-17-1918, Payette. ch File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/id/payette/vitals/marriages/mccammon238gmr.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/idfiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
