United in Marriage.

Miss Ella L. Merritt and Mr. Edward Perkins were united in marriage yesterday 
afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Merritt, on 
the West Side.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. M. Dressler at 2 o’clock 
and was witnessed only by the relatives and immediate friends of the happy 
couple.  After the ceremony the wedding party partook of a delicious repast.  
The Independent joins with the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Perkins in 
extending congratulations and best wishes.
