Miss Mary Harlene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Satoris of number 835, 2nd Ave. North and Corp. Floyd M. Nave of the Intelligence service 2nd Army and son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Nave of Lewiston, were married Thursday evening at the home of the bride’s parents. Promptly at 9 o’clock Mrs. Lois Kenkle sang “I Love You Truly” and immediately following to the strains of Mendelagoha’s wedding march played by Mrs. Clo Masonheimer, accompanied by Melvina Adams on the violin, the bridal party came down the grand stairway preceeded by little Marqarette Pence carrying a basket of roses. The bride on the arm of her father was met at the foot of the stairs by the groom and best man, who were attired in the uniform of the U. S. Arny. Pink and white was the color scheme carried out in bridal party, house decorations and refreshments. The entire lower floor of the beautiful house was hung with festoons of bridal wreath and the grand stairway was banked with honeysuckle, the large chandileers in each room were covered with pink tulle, and tulips hung from each light. The guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Satoris and Mr. and Mrs. Nave. The Mother of the bride wore a gown of taupe chiffon and silk and corsake bouquet of orchids, the mother of the groom dressed in silver lace and American Beauty tulle. Those assisting the hostess were Mesdames McGlinchey, James Lauer, A. Ingalls, Crump, Bradshaw, Hinkley, Chas, Smith, Misses Ruth Short and Myrtle Beasley of Meridian. Those serving were Misses Hobbs, Pence, Reed, Wright, Wainright, Peterson. The gifts which were numerous and beautiful were on display in the study. The bride, a beautiful and charming girl belongs to one of the pioneer families of the Payette valley, being a granddaughter of Peter Pence.
