MARRIED
 
At 12 o'clock noon at the home of the groom's parents in Washoe, occurred the 
marriage of Mr. Ben Coffey and Miss Golda Scantlin.  Rev. Farnham of Payette, 
in the presence of many relatives and friends, spoke the words that made the 
happy couple one.  These young people have grown up in our midst and have a 
host of friends.  They are of the sort that make a community better.
 
They received many beautiful presents.  Mr. Coffey has provided a home well 
furnished in Washoe and after a brief honeymoon trip they will be a home to 
their friends.
 
Note:  According to the Payette County Marriage Records, Ben Coffey married 
Golda Scantlin on 9-9-1917, Washoe.  ch
