SHEPHERD-MORGANTHALER
 
At the Prof. Chas. Miller home a pretty wedding was solemnized Christmas day 
at high noon.  Miss Ruth Shepherd, sister of Mrs. Miller, and Prof. Stanley 
Morganthaler were the contracting parties.  Dr. W. J. Boone, President of the 
College of Idaho, of which the bride is a graduate, officiated.  Mrs. 
Morganthaler was a teacher in the Trinidad graded schools.  The groom is 
Instructor of Manual Training and Athletics in the Walla Walla High School.  
After the ceremony a lovely wedding and Christmas dinner was served by Mrs. 
Miller.  Mr. and Mrs. Morganthaler will spend the week end in Boise, leaving 
for their home in Walla Walla, next week.
 
Note:  According to Payette County Marriage Records, W. S. Morganthaler 
married Ruth M. Shepherd on 12-25-1917, Fruitland.  ch
