GRAHAM-SLONE
 
A wedding took place last Saturday, the news of which came as quite a surprise 
to our people.  At the Baptist parsonage at Payette, Miss Maud Inez Slone 
became the wife of Mr. Jesse K. Graham of Pleasant View.  Rev. Dulin performed 
the ceremony.  At the bride's home in the evening a supper was given, but no 
visitors  were present.  Two rousing serenades were tendered during the night 
by crowds from New Plymouth and Pleasant View, and on the next day Mr. and 
Mrs. Graham took up housekeeping at Pleasant View where the groom has a fine 
forty-acre farm.  Mr. Graham is a bright hard-working young man, and is worthy 
of his excellent wife.  The bride is the second oldest daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Jo. G. Slone of this place, and one of our popular and good-looking young 
women.  The Outlook extends its warmest congratulations to this newly wedded 
couple.
 
Note:  According to the Western States Marriage Index, Jesse K. Graham married 
Maude J. Slone on 3-11-1905, Payette.  ch
