C. L. Walker united in marriage his sister, Miss Laura E. Walker and Robert Arnold Cook of Emmett. The beautiful ring service was used. The home was prettily decorated with roses. Only the immediate relatives of the bride were present, the groom's father being very ill. The bride is well known here having lived with her mother Mrs. Olive Walker and brother, Rev. C. L. Walker in the Methodist parsonage the past two years. Mr. Cook is the only son of John Cook of Nampa, formerly of Ontario, Oregon. He is a graduate of the Oregon Agricultural College. The young couple motored to Emmett in the evening where they will reside, the groom having a good position with the Emmett Fruit Growers Association. Mrs. Cook will be missed by her Fruitland circle of friends as she has been active in the church and Sunday school work. The best wishes of all follow them to their new home. Note: According to the Western States Marriage Index, Robert Arnold Cook married Laura Eliza Walker on 7-1-1917, Fruitland.
