The services were solemnized at high noon in St. James Episcopal church, Rex McPherson officiating. The church was filled with friends and relatives from various places in the state. The pretty little church was one bower of sweet flowers, and as the bridal party entered the church the sweet blossoms seemed to send forth all their dainty fragrance. The scene was beautiful. The bride was gowned in a handsome white silk with exquisite lace trimmings. The maid of honor was Miss McGlinchey, sister of the groom. She was becomingly attired in pale canary colored silk. The bridesmaids, Miss Bussey and Miss Stroup were in cream silk. The grouping of the pale tints made the gowns very effective. Immediately after the wedding service the bridal party and relatives attended a wedding breakfast at the home of Mrs. Walter Wells. The wedding presents were numerous and handsome. Mr. and Mrs. Alvord left on the evening train for their future home in Wyoming. Additional Comments: Note: According to the Idaho Marriage Index, Statira M. Wells married David D.
