Cards have been received in the city announcing the marriage of Miss Statira 
Wells and Mr. David D. Alvord, at Payette, on September 6th.  The bride is a 
niece of Captain Wells and the groom a son of Major Alvord, former Marshal of 
Idaho, and grandson of David Noggle, former Chief Justice of Idaho.  The 
ceremony will take place at St. James' church.  A wedding breakfast will be 
given by Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wells, followed by a reception at the home of Mr. 
John McGlinchy, after which the happy couple will take the train for their 
home in Wyoming.
