SEVERAL WEDDINGS IN PAYETTE

PAYETTE YOUNG FOLKS UNITED IN THE HOLY BONDS OF MATRIMONY.

WILLIAMS-SHORT.

A pretty home wedding took place last Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and 
Mrs. P. E. Short of this city when their oldest son, John E. Short and Miss 
Erma Williams, of Weiser were united in marriage by Father A. J. Nolan of New 
Plymouth.  Only the immediate relatives being present.  Mr. and Mrs. Geo. 
Nesbit of Weiser, uncle and aunt of the bride, were the out of town guests.  
The bride, while not known to many Payette people, is a very popular young lady 
of Weiser at which place she has lived the greater part of her life and where 
live many friends who can testify as to her noble character and sterling 
qualities. The groom has grown to manhood in this community where his cheerful 
and manly disposition has won for him many friends who will join with the 
Enterprise in extending to this worthy couple congratulations and wishes for 
many years of happy married life.
