MARRIED
 
A quiet wedding took place Thursday afternoon, Oct. 11, at the home of the 
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Wilson.  Miss Bertha Wilson and Mr. Harvey 
Phipps were united in marriage by the pastor of the Church of God.  These 
young people are well known here and have a host of friends, who wish them a 
long, happy and prosperous life.
 
Mrs. Phipps has lived in Payette for several years and is a popular young lady 
in the church and among her associates.  Mr. Phipps is a sturdy, industrious 
man who makes a success of whatever he undertakes.  They will make their home 
in Payette.

Note:  According to the Idaho Marriage Index, Bertha Wilson and Harvey M. 
Phipps were married 10-11-1917. ch
