Mr. Howard is a son of J. K. Howard who resides on the Island, near the mouth of Little Willow. Miss Windle is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Windle who have been residents of the valley for many years. This marriage connects two of the oldest families in this county. On Friday night the many friends of the happy couple tendered them a reception at the Windle home. About 40 guests were present, dancing was enjoyed until the midnight hour, then an elegant lunch was served. Shortly after the guests departed wishing the young people much happiness and prosperity as they start out on life’s journey.
