Two stockmen, Smith Rosen and C.L. plummer, who had sought to buy the bull found the aged man's body when they went back to his farm about 9 o'clock yesterday morning. Life was extinct, they said, but the enraged animal was still trampling and goring the broken body. The aged man had gone alone to the corral where the bull was kept, either to feed the animal or to replace the ring in its nose which, officers were told, he had said was missing. Examination disclosed a multiple skull fracture and chest abrasions and lacerations. NO INQUEST Dr. H. L. Stowe, county coroner, said no inquest would be necessary. The body was taken to the Twin Falls mortuary. Arrangements for funeral services had not been completed last evening. Moving here from Sterling, Colorado, in 1929, Mr. LaBounty and his family had since resided at their farm home, a half mile East a quarter mile South of the Washington school. Born December 25, 1857, at Watseka, Illinois, Mr. LaBounty was engaged in farming most of his life. He is survived by his widow and daughter, Mrs. Iva Wilcox of Twin Falls. He leaves also an adopted daughter, Mrs. Lenore Dersham of Sterling Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. Florence wood of Gillette, Wyoming, Mrs. Phil Huffman of Nelson, Nebraska and Mrs. May Fleisher of Illinois. A brother, whose name could not be learned, resided in the state of Washington.
