 With scarlet fever reported in four Murtaugh familys, Dr. C. D. Weaver, 
county physician, announced last evening, Murtaugh schools will remain closed 
until January 6 and public gatherings are being curtailed.
 Dr. Weaver said that he had quarantined two cases last Saturday and had been 
advised that the disease had broken out in two more families, Tuesday.
