Twin Falls Daily News June 12, 1923
 Curtis Adams, age 60, well known here and resident of Twin Falls county since 
1910, died at the county general hospital Sunday night from spotted fever, 
caused by a wool tick bite about a week ago at his ranch on the Salmon Tract.
 Mr. Adams, who was born in Iowa, was an early settler in the Salmon district. 
He is survived by his wife, who is also suffering from the same illiness that 
caused his death, and four children, Cecil, Keith and Helen Adams who live in 
this county, and Mrs. Charles Fitzgerald of Iowa.
