Hansen, 54, a farmer in the Clover area since 1914, died instantly Monday morning of a self-inflicted gun wound. Sheriff Jesse Carlton, who investigated, said Hansen shot himself through the mouth with a .22 caliber automatic revolver. Mr. Hansen returned Sunday night from Boise. The sheriff said he had been in poor health and in a nervouse state of mind for quite some time. Mrs. Hansen was milking the cows at the time. She returned to the house and found her husband on the floor in the bathroom. In addition to his widow, Mr. Hansen is survived by one brother, Edward F. Hansen, and one sister, Mrs. Donna Price, both Delano, Calif., He was preceded in death by his parents. The Hansens have no children. Mr. Hansen was born Jan 19, 1901 in Rosilyn, Wash. He married Bessie Kirk Nov 7, 1952, at Elko, Nev. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Twin Falls Mortuary chapel with the Rev. Wayne Hagemeier, Buhl, officiating. Final rites will be in the Filer 100F cemetery.
