DONNA HANSEN LAID TO REST- Mrs. Donna M. Hansen, 83, resident since 1914, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at a rest home in Twin Falls, following an extended illiness. She was born in Richhill, W. Va., in 1869 and was married to Hans Hansen in 1898 in Roslyn, Wash. He preceded her in death in 1932. She was a member of the reorganized LDS Church. Survivors include two sons, James R. Hansen and Edward F. Hansen, both Filer; one daughter, Mrs. E.E. Price, Delano, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Holland, Roslyn, Wash. and Mrs Etta Owens, Cle Elum, Wash; one brother, Frank Holmes, Seattle, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Hansen were held Tuesday afternoon in the Twin Falls Mortuary Chapel with Elder Ivan Montgomery presiding. The invocation and obituary were given by Charles Vreeland and speaker was Ivan Montgomery, Music included duet numbers by Mrs. Edith Gilmore and Mrs. Louise Condit and Mrs. Stanley Phillips was the organist. The benediction was given by Vreeland. Honorary pallbeares include William Price, Henry Winegar, Iram Sheldon, Roscoe Walker, Ned Lancaster and David Thornton. Active pallbearers were Clarence Kalbfleisch, James Winegar, Howard Sheldon, Harold Lancaster, James Lancaster and James Busby. Dedication and benediction at the graveside in the Filer 100F cemetery were given by Vreeland.
