Impressive Last Rites for Mrs. H. B. McConnel  

An impressive final tribute was paid at funeral services at the Grossman chapel 
here Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Sara F. McConnel, former Milner resident, who 
died at her home in Portland following a lingering illness. services were 
conducted by a Christian Scientist, and friends of the family were pall 
bearers. Interment was in the Twin Falls cemetery beside the grave of her 
husband, the late Harlan B. McConnel, who met his death by accident at the 
Milner dam two years ago.

Mrs. McConnel was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Smith and was born in 
Idaho City September 9, 1886. She was married to Mr. McConnel May 4, 1909. She 
is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Katherine Spatz, Portland; and one 
sister, Mrs. Naomi McLean, Idaho City, and one brother, S. E. Smith, Cascade.
