Moorhead, 60, who was killed Thursday night when he was struck by a railway locomotive near caldwell. Mr. Moorhead apparently did not hear the whistle of the locomotive on the fast passenger train before it struck him as he walked down the track towards Caldwell in the vicinity where he was working. William Talley, Nampa, Ada, county coroner, pronounced the death accidental. Mr. Moorhead had made his home here for at least 20 years, and was born in LaSalle county, Illinois, Sept 6, 1883. Survivors include one son, Wayne Moorhead, Buhl; three daughters, Mrs. francis Machacek, Buhl; Miss Norma Jean Moorhead, Filer; and Betty Moorhead, who has been attending St.Theresa's academy, Boise; his father, C. Moorhead, Buhl; three sisters, Miss Maude Moorhead, Buhl; Mrs. J. N. Blakeley, Filer; and Mrs. Roy Smalley, Buhl; and two brothers, Earl E. Moorhead, Kansas City,Mo., and William Moorhead, who lives in Washington Stae. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Max Greenlee, pastor of the Buhl Presbyterian church, and burial will be in the Filer Odd Fellows cemetery.
