Twin Falls Man Taken by Death

Robert T. Pinkston, 76, a resident of Idaho, since 1929, died at 5:30 p.m. 
Friday following a brief illness.

Born Aug 23, 1889*, in Gibbs, Mo., he married Blanche Meeker on Feb. 22, 1911, 
at Perskville*, Mo.  The couple came to Idaho in 1929, and lived in Filer until 
moving to Twin Falls in October, 1955. 

In addition to his widow, Mr. Pinkston is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G. W. 
Hostetler, Twin Falls, and Mrs. Russell Burkett, Concord, Calif.; two brothers, 
Gilbert Pinkston, Filer and Eppy Pinkston, Brashear, Mo.; five grandchildren 
and four great-grandchildren.  Funeral services are pending at Twin Falls 
mortuary.

* Date of birth-stone indicates 23 Aug 1880-if you subtract his age from his 
date of death you get 76 which was his age at the time of his death.  I believe 
this is a typographical error.  Their place of marriage was Kirksville, Mo.  I 
have a copy of the marriage record indicating Kirksville.  Again, I think this 
was a typographical error.

Twin Falls-Funeral services for Robert T. Pinkston will be held 3:30 p.m. 
Monday at Twin Falls mortuary chapel with the Rev. Ray Eugene Crow 
officiating.  Concluding services will be held in Sunset Memorial cemetery.
