Twin Falls Daily News     Tuesday April 18, 1933
 Mrs. Susan Emiline Smith 77, died at the home of her daughter C.E. McLain, 
one and 3 quarter miles Southwest of Twin Falls at 4: 30 O'Clock yesterday 
afternoon. She had been ill since last February.
 Mrs. Smith was born in Indiana December 1, 1857, she was married to O.J. 
Smith in 1870 in Newton Iowa and later lived in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She had 
resided with her daughter near Twin Falls for several years.
 Besides her daughter here, she is survived by one son H.W. Smith, Portland 
Oregon and two sisters, Mrs. Dicy Jackson and Mrs. Ada Van Epps, both of 
Newton Iowa. Four grandchildren also survives.
 Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of the White mortuary at 1 
O'Clock Wednesday afternoon and will be conducted by Dr. Elijah Hull 
LongBrake, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. The body rests at the 
White mortuary.
