Decree of Divorce- Judgement Book 21- Page 605- January 8th 1943
        IN THE DISTRICT COURT

  This cause having been brought on to be heard this 8th day of January, A.D. 
1943. Defendant having been served with summons and complaint, and having 
failed to appear and plead to said complaint, and by reason thereof, his 
default has been duly entered herein.
  It is ordered , Adjudged and Decreed, that the marriage between the said 
plaintiff, Katherine Converse and the said defendant Norton Converse be 
dissolved, and the same is hereby dissolved accordingly, and the same parties 
are and each of them is, freed and absolutely released from the bonds of 
matrimony, and all the obligations thereof. And it is hereby further ordered, 
adjudged and decreed that the plaintiff have and she hereby is given  the care, 
custody, and control of the minor child of plaintiff and defendant, named Vera 
Converse; and it is hereby further ordered, adjudged and decreed that the 
plaintiff have and she is hereby given and awarded the community property of 
plaintiff and defendant as set out in said complaint, described as follows; 
Lots 8 and 9 in Block 5 of the townsite of Filer, in the county of Twin Falls, 
State of Idaho, together with the small house thereon, where said plaintiff and 
minor child  are making their home. And defendant is hereby forever restrained 
from ever claiming or asserting any right, title, or interest in or to said 
property or any part thereof; and plaintiff is hereby given and awarded said 
property as her own seperate estate. This decree having been granted and 
awarded upon the allegations and proffs of extreme cruealty on the part of 
defendant against the plaintiff herein.
