The Prospector And Thunder Mountain News April 8, 1905
George Dyer, living near the Shaffer Ranch, on the South Fork of the Salmon, died of
old age March 30th.

Mr. Dyer came around Cape Horn many years ago in company with Mr. Kelley, of the
Kelley & Patterson firm, of Warren. He had lived in that section for a long time.
