Services for Dennis Laney Allen, 29, Cascade, who died of natural causes 
Thursday at a logging site south of Cascade, were conducted Monday afternoon 
at the Community Christian Church, Cascade, by the Rev. James Schneider, 
Cascade Assembly of God Church. Interment followed in Margaret Cemetery under 
the direction of Walker-Heikkila Chapel, McCall.

He was born June 21, 1949 at Council, to James Burl and Freda Mae Allen. He 
was reared at Cascade and attended schools there. He graduated from Cascade 
High School in 1967. He married Patricia Sue Osborn of Emmett on Nov. 11, 
1972. They lived at Cascade where he worked for Dwight Parks Logging Co. He 
was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Crystal Lynn, and a son, Wesley Scott, his 
father, J. Burl Allen, and a brother, Marvin Allen, all of Cascade; a sister, 
Sharon Ketchum of Kellogg; his grandmothers, Mary E. Allen and Mahala A. 
Potts, both of Boise; five nieces and a nephew. His Mother, Freda Allen, died 
in January, 1979. He was also preceded in death by his grandfathers, John H. 
Allen and William G. Potts.
