She was born June 20, 1923 in Wauwatosa, Wis. and preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jane Kleinschmidt, son, Mark and husband James "Jim" Keating. Jane and her husband were long time residents of El Paso moving here from the San Francisco Bay area. Jim was Refinery Manager of the Chevron Refinery. Both were involved in support of community activities. Jane was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She was a member of the El Paso Assistance League since 1977. As a librarian and teacher, she was an avid reader and supporter and animal organizations. Jane will also be remembered by her many friends in Yellow Pine, Idaho where she will be at rest with her loving husband and son. Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Remembrance at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Sam Faraone presiding.
