Willson, 72, of Yellow Pine, who was killed Monday morning in an automobile accident north of Ferncroft. Mr. Willson was a native Idahoan and a resident for most of his life of the Valley County primitive area. He was born June 2, 1891 in Hailey. During the 1930's, he was a reporter for the Oregon Journal in Portland, Ore. In more recent years, he had been actively interested in the history of Valley County and done extensive research collecting data and photographs and writing anecdotes of early settlers. He was a veteran of World War I and a life member of the Disable American Veterans and John Regan Post No. 2 of the American Legion in Boise. He had spent his winters in Boise for the past several years, returning each summer to his home in Yellow Pine. Mr. Willson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donna Lee Anderson, Beaverton, Ore.; a son, Archie, address unknown, and a nephew, Dick Willson, Alameda, Calif.
