Additional Comments: Lafe Cox (1914 - 2002) grew up on Johnson Creek and operated the Cox Dude Ranch, as did his parents, Clark & Beulah Cox. The ranch is still in operation as Wapiti Meadows Guest Ranch. Al Hennessy (1895 - 1956) was the original homesteader of the present-day Bryant Ranch and the Johnson Creek Landing Strip. He was also the original locater of the mining claims that were eventually patented and known as Stibnite. In his later years he mined on Buck Creek.
