GAS FROM WEISER WILL BE PIPED TO ASHLEY HOME
 
Weiser, Nov. 7 -- Money has been raised to sink the well on the Ashley farm 
near here, in which gas was struck a short time ago, 400 feet further.  Mr. 
Ashley has piped the gas to his home having burned it for the past week.  He 
reads by it every night and is well pleased with the light it gives.
 
J. J. Fuller has completed one brick store building and commenced work on the 
foundations for another.  During the past four months eight brick business 
buildings and 50 residences have been built here.
