Miss Nina Westgate, daughter of Mrs. Ida Miller, has come from Springfield, Mass., to take a position at Sommercamp's. The driving horse, Len Coleman, ran away last evening throwing Mr. Coleman and H. C. Shepherd from the carriage. Both men escaped but the carriage was demolished. Mayor Kelly and family are visiting at Portland. Mrs. Gerwick will soon open a millinery department at her husband's store. As an outgrowth of contests filed, on coal lands of George Shurtliff, he has caused the arrest of W. C. Doak and Lewis Hall on the charge of conspiracy.
