Mrs. Esther Allen Another Pio-
Crosses the Great Divide
Both Well Known
 
Mrs. Esther Allen
 
Mrs. Esther Allen, who die Wednesday, February 10th, on South Crane Creek, was 
a pioneer of the state of Idaho, having come to Idaho in 1889.  She was also a 
pioneer of the west, having been married at Running Water, South Dakota, in 
1869.  Her husband died several years ago.  To them was born twelve children, 
six sons and six daughters, of whom nine are living.  All but two are 
residents of this county.  Robert Allen resides at Dillon, Mont., and Mrs. Wm. 
Herrington, of Butte, Montana.  Ben, Joe, James, Charles, Mrs. Charles Roice, 
Mrs. William Reavis and Mrs. William Tinsley, are residents of this county.  
Mrs. Allen was 63 years, one month and eleven days old at the time of her 
death.  She was a Christian woman and had many friends in this section.
