B. Allison Passes Away After an illness of several months, of cancer of the stomach, William B. Allison, one of the best known men of the county, and one of the first settlers of Washington county, passed away at his home near Cambridge last Thursday morning. Mr. Allison was one of the most prominent farmers of the county, having under cultivation several hundred acres of land and had one of the finest ranches in the county. He was a prominent Mason and a special train ran from Weiser on the P. & I. N. railway Sunday morning to convey members of the order to Cambridge, that he might be buried under the auspices of the order. Funeral services were held in the Masonic hall at Cambridge, Sunday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. Baker, of the Methodist church. The services by the order were conducted at the cemetery. The attendance at the funeral and the procession to the cemetery was the largest ever seen in Cambridge.
