Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Cable last Friday after noon and 
took away their little son, Richard Fredrick.  The little fellow would have 
been two months old the next day.  He was only ill about two days, and his 
taking away was a great shock to the parents.  He was their only child, and 
the young couple have the sympathy of the entire community.  Pneumonia was the 
cause of his death.  The funeral was held Sunday at Valley View school house, 
and he was buried in the Salubria cemetery.
 
There was no Easter service at the school house as planned on account of the 
Cable boy's funeral.
