Members of her family were all hastily summoned and were constantly at her bedside until the end, which came late Tuesday evening. She was in her usual spirits at breakfast and this sudden change was entirely unlooked for. The funeral was held at the M. E. Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Baker and she was laid away in the Salubria cemetery. Miss Margaret Taylor was born near Dayton Ohio in 1831 and was past 81 years of age. She was married to James Colson in 1856 at Oskaloosa Iowa and came to Idaho in 1864 and settled in Boise basin. In 1868 they came to Salubria and have made their home here ever since. Grandma Colson has lived a long and useful life and her memory will live in the minds and the hearts of all those who knew her. She leaves a husband, four sons and two daughters.
