Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Hillcrest cemetery, Weiser. Arrangements are under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home, Weiser. Dorothy was born June 30, 1918, at Indian Valley, Idaho, the daughter of Henry and Letitia (Peggy) Clapper McClintic. She grew up on a farm on Munday Gulch and attended elementary and high school at the Pleasant View School SW of Indian Valley. Dorothy married Hayes Davis Oct. 7, 1943, at Weiser, Idaho. The couple had one child. Hayes proceeded her in death Dec. 21, 1961. She spent all of her adult life in the Weiser and Annex area. Dorothy was a devoted member of the Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading her bible, writing poetry, crocheting, doing puzzles, playing the harmonica and visiting with people. Survivors include her son Roger and Debra Davis of Weiser, Idaho; five granddaughters, Lisa Davis of Nampa, Idaho, Karene Fauble of Pocatello, Idaho, Patricia and Kelly Theurer of Payette, Idaho, Donita and Brian Dalton of Weiser, Idaho, Ginger and William Taylor of Weiser, Idaho; one grandson, David and Raquel Barnett of Denver, Colo.; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandsons; her only sister Mildred Moore of Payette, Idaho; many cousins, and her dear friend Mary Shaw. Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, at Thomason Funeral Chapel, Weiser. The family suggest memorials be made in her name to the Assembly of God Church, 515 E. court, Weiser, Idaho 83672. The family would like to thank the Weiser Care Center for their excellent care of Dorothy for the past 12 years that she has been a resident.
