M. Fuller The funeral of Mrs. C. M. Fuller, whose death was mentioned last week, took place from the Baptist church in Cambridge, Rev. Willoughby conducting the service, and the remains were laid to rest in the Cambridge cemetery. Miss Anna Alway was born near Mankato, Minn., April 20, 1876. She was taught from childhood to believe and trust in Christ as her saviour. At the age of 19 she was deeply impressed that it was her duty to prepare herself to serve suffering humanity as a medical missionary nurse. With her to know her duty was all that she desired. These convictions resulted in a three years' course of study and training in the Medical and Surgical Sanitarium of Battle Creek, Mich., graduating in the fall of 1894. She was married to Claud M. Fuller, Dec. 3, 1893. The union has been one of usefulness and happiness. For seven years they have unitedly endeavored to alleviate the sufferings of the afflicted and broken-hearted. Two years ago last February she came among the people of this valley. During her presence among us she has labored faithfully to do all she could to bring health and joy into our homes. For several months past her heart had been very delicate, but when the calls for help came it was not in her heart to refuse to respond. Six weeks ago last Wednesday she was stricken down with that subtle disease, typhoid fever, and the following day she was taken to her home. All that loving hearts and willing hands could do failed to save her precious life. During her sickness she often said that she did not regret doing what she had done, although it might result in death. During one of my visits at her bedside I stated to her that many were inquiring about her and had expressed regrets that she had worked when she was unable to do so. She quickly replied, "I do not want them to feel that way; it is all right." A few days before her death, in conversation with the family, she remarked that she never had any better or surer evidence of her conversion than at present. - - "I am so happy." Two hours before she died she was told that it was hardly possible for her to live. She replied, "Do all you can and it will be all right, whichever way it goes." Her last words were, "Shall I resist this stupor that is coming over me?" The ready response was "Yes, resist it." She said, "All right; I will try." She died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1902, at 8 p. m. She leaves a husband, a father and mother, five sisters and two brothers to mourn their loss. Her age is 26 years, 2 months and 21 days. She was a faithful and consistent member of the Seventh Day Adventist church. J. M. WILLOUGHBY Sweetly Resting She is resting sweetly resting; Lonely though our hearts now feel, We have God to help us bear it. He the broken hearts will heal. Ever strewing life's dull pathway, With her sunny words and deeds. She has taught us sweetest precepts, For which Jesus gently pleads. Though we miss her, sadly miss her. From our friendly circle here. We can look to that glad meeting Where there falls no blinding tear. Though the blighting cloud of sorrow Shrouds the home so sadly reft, Clouds have all a silver lining. Let us look beyond the clef. God is waiting there to welcome. All the weary, way ?orn home. He will guide us through the valley, He will lead us ever on. There will be a grand re-union Of the faithful ones who've gone. There will be no room for sorrow. In that land of love and song.
