Rev. C. A. McKay of Nampa had charge of the service and special music was provided by Mrs. Bernard Eastman. Pall bearers were old time friends of the deceased, Walter G. Pence, Jess Wells, Clyde Thurston, F. M. Moss, W. H. Moss and E. H. Murphy. Mrs. Hamilton was well and favorably known by a host of friends throughout this section of Western Idaho and Eastern Oregon, being the daughter of a former well known citizen and property owner, Wm. Coughanour. She was born in 1875 at Quartzburg, Idaho, where her father, W. A. Coughanour was one of the owners of the rich Gold Hill mine. She was married in 1898 to the late W. R. Hamilton, one of the prominent physicians residing at Weiser. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton resided at Silver City for twelve years and later moved to Weiser, where Mr. Hamilton passed away. Deceased was prominently identified with civic and fraternal organizations, being a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Portia club, Business and Professional Women's club and St. James Episcopal church. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Matthews, of Payette and Mrs. Dorothy Blunck, of Nampa. Interment was made in the family plot in Riverside cemetery.
