Martin Hannan Dead
 
Martin Vanburen Hannan, one of the pioneers of this section, died at his home 
in Salubria on Wednesday, October 21.  For some time Mr. Hannan had been ill 
and the death of the pioneer was not unexpected.
 
Mr. Hannan was a native of California, born May 27, 1848.  In the autumn of 
1885 he came to Salubria, engaged in business, and remained there until death 
called him.
 
The departed pioneer is survived by his wife and thirteen children and one 
brother.  His entire family resides in Salubria.  The brother resides in 
California.  He will come to Salubria to attend the funeral which will take 
place either Saturday or Sunday.  Internment will be in Salubria cemetery.
