Committed Suicide
 
George Hillier Jr., for the past 20 years a resident of Weiser, committed 
suicide there last week by shooting himself in the head with a 32 caliber 
revolver.  He shot himself Thursday morning and lay unconscious for 23 hours 
until death came to his relief.  Hillier conducted a small store in the 
western part of the city and was unmarried.  No one knows why he committed the 
rash act.  His parents and several sisters and one brother are residents of 
Idaho.  He was 37 years of age.  He owned considerable property in Weiser and 
vicinity.
