She was aged 73 years, 4 months and 20 days. She had been failing in health since it will be remembered, falling and dislocating her right shoulder and having taken a severe cold which settled on her lungs, and a stroke of paralysis on the left side was more than her weakened constitution could stand. She was confined to her bed 26 days when the end came peacefully. She leaves four children, three daughters and one son, to mourn a loving mother. All were absent at the time of her death except Mrs. John Sutton, the youngest child, with whom she had made her home since the death of her husband 10 years ago. IN MEMORY OF GRANDMA Oh, the patter of the rain-drops! I love to hear your soothing sound, But now I know that you are falling On dear grandma's silent mound. In the graveyard there we laid her When spring time was coming soon, Little thought we in the fall-time We would part from her so soon. Yes, she's gone and we feel lonely, But she's only gone before; For if here to Christ we're faithful, We can meet to part no more.
