H. Harris, Sr., and lived with her during his residence here. He secured a position as messenger at the Western Union Telegraph office at Weiser, and in their employ up to the time of his death. Interment will be in Weiser Cemetery. Tuberculosis and a combination of other diseases was the cause of death. He was about 23 years of age, was a native of Missouri. The body was held until Sunday awaiting the arrival of his sister from her home at Woodbine, Iowa. The services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. Cullison officiating. The young man made many friends here by his quiet and unassuming disposition. His sister, Miss Lizzie Roberts, came up from Weiser Monday to visit for a short time with her aunt before returning to her home in Iowa. Note: According to the Idaho Death Index, John D. Roberts was born 10-4-1890 and died 6-18-1914.
