Rodgers and Rosa Pernaud Answer to the Mysterious Call and Pass to the Great Beyond Last Monday Night Grandma Pernaud, who had been ailing for several months succumbed to the inevitable and passed away. Although well along in her seventies, Grandma bid fair to live several years yet had she not gotten the nail in her lung last August. From the effects of this she contracted a bad cough from which she never fully recovered. Mrs. Pernaud was Mrs. Harley Wells' mother. She was one of the best hearted old ladies in Cambridge. The funeral took place yesterday, conducted by the Christian Scientists. John G. Rodgers It was known that Mr. Rogers had heart trouble and would some day go just as he did, yet his sudden death last Wednesday came as a distinct shock to the community. On the afternoon mentioned he was in the act of carrying a coop for some chickens, and when near the creamery building he put the coop down and set down beside it. It was in this resting position he was found a few minutes later by Tom Harrel. As soon as the discovery was made a doctor was called, but life was extinct. The funeral will be today, conducted by the Odd Fellows, of which organization he was a member.
