Funeral services were held at the home, Sunday, Rev. Clapper officiating. Obituary Susannah E. Harris was born near Newark, Ohio, May 16, 1837. From there when 8 years of age she went with her parents to Putnam county in the same state where she lived until 1854, when she removed with her parents to Boone Co., Iowa, then a newly settled part of the country. She was married July 31, 1855, to Nathan Sidney Starr. To this union was born four children three sons and one daughter, only one of whom is living, J. L. Starr of Salubria valley. In 1874 she came with her husband and son to Idaho where she has resided ever since. She endured with patience the hardships and privations of pioneer life and was always ready and willing to help those less fortunate than herself. At 16 years of age she became a member of the Christian church and remained a faithful Christian until her death. She was laid to rest beside her husband in the Salubria cemetery, a large number of her friends and relatives accompanying the remains to the last resting place among the scenes she loved as well. She leaves a son, a brother and other relatives to mourn her loss. "Farewell kind friend a little while. And we the mystic vale must cross. To meet once more the wale me smile. To meet again the loved and lost." A Friend THANKS It is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank the friends who so kindly assisted us during our recent sorrow for our mother, sister and aunt. J. L.
