Pioneer Lady Passes Away
 
Mrs. Artemesia Stover, a pioneer resident and much esteemed citizen of this 
valley, passed away Thursday afternoon at her home on Monroe creek after a 
long illness.  The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from 
the home, interment in Weiser cemetery.
 
Deceased, who has resided in this valley for about a quarter of a century, was 
62 years of age and was born in Washington county, Iowa.  Besides the husband 
she is survived by four sons and two daughters; Joe, Will, Ernest and James 
Stover; Mrs. Sam Roseborough and Mrs. Arthur Womack, all residing near Weiser. 
 
Note:  Cemetery is Hillcrest, Weiser.  Artimesia Moore Stover was born 2-5-
1850 and died 9-30-1912.  ch
