At the home of the bride’s parents on the picturesque banks of the Snake river, Mr. John T. Sperry was united in joyful marriage to Miss Orpha Melton. The Rev. A. I. Mow solemnized the marriage, while a goodly number of relatives and friends were present to enjoy and lend felicity to the occasion. The groom and the bride were in the early years of fully developed man and womanhood. Both were tastily and beautifully dressed. Hearty congratulations were extended and joy and prosperity invoked upon the favored couple. After the presentation of many useful presents, the dinner which was bountifully characteristic of the unlimited possibilities of the rich resources of the valley, was served. Such ample justice was done to the feast as to bestow the most telling compliments upon the ladies who prepared it. The occasion was a memorable one and the happy pair will go through life rejoicing.
