The citizens of Galena and vicinity are respectfully invited to meet at the Court-house, on Monday morning next, at 9 o'clock, for the purpose of celebrating the breaking ground on the northern.termination of the great Central railroad. The citizens of Dubuque, Mineral Point, and the adjoining counties, are also respectfully invited to join in the celebration under the following order of the committee of arrangement. ORDER OF PROCESSION. Music. Marshal of the day. President and Trustees of the town. Clergy and Orator of the day. Commissioners, Engineers and Contractors. ( Laborers, with their ) Second Marshal, ( implements. ) Third Marshal. Members of Mechanics' Institute. Fire Companies. Hook and Ladder Company. Members of the Bar. Citizens and Strangers. President, Vice-President, and officers of the Chamber of Commerce. Fourth Marshal. Fifth Marshal. The committee appointed the foilpwing gentlemen to act as Marshals on the occasion: Capt. H. H. Gear, Messrs. Philip Barry, Wm. B. Green, George M. Mitchell, Legrand Morehouse. The procession will form at the Court-house, and proceed down Main street to the steamboat landing, where it will embark, on board of boats prepared for the occasion to take them to the vicinity of the place where the work is to commence. A general invitation is respectfully tendered to the ladies of Galena, and the surrounding country, to repair on board the boats previous to the time of the procession, reaching it.
