Cairo Newspaper September 22, 1923
The funeral of Mrs. Milford Whitaker who shot and fatally wounded herself 
outside a dane hall at Ullin Thursday night, was held at the undertaking 
parlors of Coroner E.A. Burke this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock , Rev. W. R. 
Garriott officiating.
At the inquest held friday evening at 7 o' clock the jury returned a verdict 
of suicide other than that of jealousy aggravated by intoxicatin was advanced.
The body was bried at Beech Grove cemetery, the funeral cortege leaving Cairo 
via automobile immediately following the funeral.

Additional Comments:
Trying to find out where the Beech Grove cemetery is and if anyone may have 
seen her grave. Does anyone know where Milford went after her death. Did she 
have a child ?
