Mary Ellen Dressor, wife of Francis Dressor of Sorento, died at the family 
residence in that city, Mar. 1, 1902, aged 67 years, 11mns, 1d. Mrs. Dressor 
was born Mar. 31, 1832 in Pleasant Praire, east of Sorento and was the 
daughter of James E. & Sinah Rankin. she lived in this county all her life. 
January 10, 1856 she married Francis Dressor. To them were born six children, 
four of whom survive. They are John C. Dressor, and Lucy Dressor of Sorento, 
James R. of Pueblo, Colorado and William F. of Reno. The deceased is 
alsosurvived by her husband, five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. D. F. 
Jestes of Sorento and Mrs. W.F. File of Chicago.
